Welcome to Selvin Tatli’s teachings. Group classes, corporate courses as well as privates are available both in German and English.


Introduction

Selvin is a certified Yoga teacher and meditation guide. Everything she incorporates into her classes are tools that she has found to be working for herself. Some of them are traditional meditation and pranayama techniques and classic yoga asanas, but there is always a refreshing twist to her teaching. She uses whatever inspires her in life – from all the arts to martial arts – to deliver new perspectives and keep her classes spicy. Selvin has trained with various teachers on her journey so far. Classes

meditation + coffee klatch

Founded by Selvin herself, this class is a true original. It combines the best of meditation, inspiration, journaling, breathwork and coffee indulging in community. It’s a yogic coffee klatch, as she likes to call it. Find a more detailed description here.

vinyasa yoga

Creative, playful and powerful, Vinyasa Yoga synchronizes the breath with movement. One breath – one movement. That’s how it goes. It’s a meditation in motion that not only brings flexibility, strength, balance and mobility to the body but also a sense of calm to the mind.

meditation

Guided meditations help you to quiet your mind and create more clarity, skillfully keeping your cool. Shifting your focus and attention inwards, your energy follows. The result is a more equanimous state of being, finding gratitude and presence in the moment rather than reliving the past and worrying about the future.

journaling

Incorporating journaling and writing excercises into one’s practice can do wonders. Here’s why: when we write for ourselves, we can be completely blunt about our feelings. From there, we gain an honest and true sense of what we need to invite into our lives and what we need to let go.

yin yoga

Also called “meditation in shapes”. We stay in poses (“passively holding”) for a longer period of time (few minutes) to stretch connective tissue, fascia, and release blockades.

In early 2018, Selvin Tatli completed her Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Lord Vishnus Couch in Cologne, Germany. She teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Budokon Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation. She founded her passion project “meditation + coffee klatch” in 2019.
